The Sunshine Coast is the proud home to multiple award-winning craft breweries and a cidery. These breweries have cosy tasting rooms that welcome visitors to experience their unique ‘craft’ culture. In Gibsons, you’ll find three distinct breweries, such as Persephone Brewing Company’s “beer farm”, surrounded by towering hop vines and a forest of coastal Douglas fir. Head north and you can sip cider at a classic apple orchard at Bricker’s Cider, and head further north still to visit Townsite Brewery, located in the Canadian Heritage District of Powell River.
